About Us
The Sectional Title Association Strand (STAS), the voice of the sectional title community, is a registered, volunteer-driven, non-profit entity based in the Strand, Cape Town, committed to improving sectional title living. We offer a platform to help you navigate shared living with confidence. We bring together sectional title schemes, homeowners’ associations and businesses to support apartment blocks and townhouse communities in building vibrant, inclusive neighborhoods. By amplifying the voices of unit owners and encouraging participation from partners, we help shape decisions that reflect the community’s shared vision — fostering a sense of ownership, connection, and pride.
STAS works closely with key local partners, including SAPS, Strand Neighborhood Watch, Helderberg Crime Watch, Future Strand, Helderberg Ratepayers Association, Strand Business Improvement District (SBID), Sub-Council 8, TVDM Consultants, and trusted service providers, to strengthen community networks. These partnerships equip members to navigate issues related to municipal services, public safety, and shared resources, laying the groundwork for resilient and well-managed living environments.
